Going Dotty with Winstonia...

A little bit ago I received a wheel of nail studs and pointy tweezers from Winstonia for review. Today I would like to show you both of these items. I decided to incorporate the nail studs into my stamping as I usually like to do. Of course it goes without saying that I paired the studs up with a stamping pattern from a Winstonia plate. The plates I purchased and reviewed back in March. Being very impressed with the quality, I was excited to try more Winstonia products...

For the manicure I applied a base of Barielle Peach Popsicle from the Summer Fun collection released last year. I will show full swatches of it at some point along with the rest of the collection. I stamped using Barielle Surf's Up and Winstonia plate W112. This not usually a combo of colors I would try, but the mood must have been right and so there you have it... a peach and blue combo...

There are three different round studs in the Winstonia studs wheel (Design #3): shiny blue, shiny gold and matte champagne gold. I used all three of them in the manicure and think they add a little whimsy to the dotty stamped pattern. My bf thinks it looks like one of those colorful poison dart frogs and I think that just about sums it up...

The nail wheel, Design #3, comes with a fun mix of different shaped metal rhinestones. I'm excited to try out more of them in my future manicures. In particular the gold and silver hex studs as well as the pink heart studs are calling out to me...

Along with the nail studs, I got a chance to try a pointy Tweezer set. I used these tweezers to apply the rhinestones in the manicure. I purchased a similar set on Ebay a while ago, but these are much better quality, feel sturdier and have very precise and sharp tips. I would highly recommend these for anyone looking for quality pointy tweezers...

They easily grabbed and held onto even the smallest studs...

  2. I love my Winstonia plates, so I can't wait to try out the studs now. I really like the angled/bent tweezers so you can actually see where you are placing the jewel. Your mani is really nice.

  3. I told you in AIS I loved this manicure very much! But I'm back to emphasize it lol. I'd never combine these colors too, however now I will xD Another thing, I remember you said Barielle polishes stamp well... but wow, the blue is really awesome! Kisses,

    @Elaine, thank you!

    @Cin O, I'm so glad you like the manicure. The bent angle tweezers are great and so sharp that they have no problem with the small studs. Love them :)
